Stephanie Lipinski is founder and owner of Hanson Insurance, one of the first woman-owned insurance agencies and an active member of the South Shore Women’s Business Network. Approaching her 30th year in business, Stephanie attributes much of her success to having been raised on a farm in Hanson, Massachusetts. As a farmer, Stephanie learned the value of hard work, seeing the big picture and the value of family and home.

Hard work.  “My brothers and sisters and I had a great deal of responsibility on our farm. Roles were not assigned, we just got it done.”  And when it came time to start her own insurance agency almost 30 years ago, she just did that, too. As a female business owner, she approaches customer relationships with a unique approach and style, allowing her a competitive advantage over her peers.

“Big Picture” approach. While she is happy to write single policies for a client with a particular need, she prefers the “big picture” approach.  Her consultative nature and relationship orientation help her to uncover multiple levels of need among her clients.  And, Hanson Insurance is well suited to offer comprehensive solutions because it brings together market-leading commercial, personal, life, and health and investment products.
